During the current outbreak of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), Radio Holland is taking steps to ensure the health and wellbeing of our employees and other stakeholders. Part of our control measures during this outbreak is to ensure that all our personnel stay healthy during their time and work onboard the vessel, structure or other work location.
Many ship operators and local regulatory authorities have established specific reporting and processes to minimize the spread of COVID-19. Radio Holland staff will fully comply with specific customer or local requirements.
Additionally, Radio Holland staff will be following these precautions:
Prior to confirming attendance, Radio Holland may ask the ship to complete a health check questionnaire.
On board, our Service Engineers will maintain at least 1.5 meters (5 feet) distance from ships staff or other persons.
Our Service Engineers will not attend if they have symptoms of COVID-19 or suspect they may have been exposed.
Our Service Engineers will disinfect surfaces in the immediate job site with appropriate cleaning materials.
Where stipulated by local authorities or ships’ requirements, our Service Engineers will wear Personal Protective Equipment during the ship visit.
If our Service Engineers feel that the job site is unsafe, they have our authority to leave the job site.
Temporary additional COVID-19 conditions
These temporary additional conditions COVID-19 are applicable to all Radio Holland sales, services, projects, purchases and deliveries and will prevail over any other conflicting applicable conditions till further notice.
