Supply Chain Employee

The scope of your job is local.

The supply chain team consists of 4 people (3 in Antwerp, 1 in Zeebrugge) who jointly take care of ordering, receiving, storing internally and externally distributing goods in order to contribute to an optimal flow of goods. Coordination and communication with your direct manager and with the various internal services are essential here.

You will report to the supply chain manager and you are located in Zeebrugge.

Responsibilities

• Purchasing necessary goods within framework contracts.
• Requesting quotes for specific purchases.
• Receiving, checking and storing incoming goods.
• Taking care of the outgoing flow of goods, including calling up transports.
• Processing in ERP system Navision.
• You ensure order and cleanliness in and around the warehouse.

Carrying out on time and execute correctly the operational logistics activities.
Participating of stock counts in the warehouse.
You take a proactive attitude towards solving problems.
Being a point of contact for transporters, suppliers and customers

Skills / Abilities

• You speak and write Dutch and English fluently. You also have a strong sense of responsibility that guarantees quality and continuity that allows you to bring independently an assignment to a successful conclusion. The necessary communication skills to function in a team are a must.
• You are willing to work with a stacker.

Work Experience

A first work experience is preferable.

Education

You have at least a higher secondary education diploma.
