To strengthen our team of Service Coordinators in Rotterdam, Radio Holland is looking for a Service Coordinator who shares our passion for customer service!

Roles and responsibilities

  • The Service Coordinator is call owner from the initial service request received from ships visiting the Rotterdam port and area, throughout its preparation and execution until call closure and invoicing
  • Pro-active commercial approach towards customers, to maximize service opportunities
  • Communicates with the customer throughout the entire service process; giving (technical) advice, keeping the customer appraised of the process of the service call and – if any – settles complaints or disputes with the customer, in consultation with the Team Lead Service coordination, Service Manager or Sales
  • Makes a proper work preparation, to assure the call can be executed effectively and efficiently by the Service Engineer and to customer’s satisfaction:
  • Assures that the required materials, tools and capabilities to execute the service call are available in time and at the right place
  • Provides a complete and proper work instruction, within the relevant systems, to the Team Lead, Planner and Service Engineer(s)
  • Assures that al required data is processed in time and with good quality in all relevant systems to smoothen processing and invoicing
  • De-briefing with Service Engineer(s) and call closure within 1 working day after the call is executed.


  • Diploma in Electronics Engineering or other engineering discipline
  • Min 3 years relevant customer service experience preferably in 24/7 technical support environment
  • Current engineer or technician who would like to switch to customer service function are also welcomed to apply
  • Good customer service and organising skill
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Fluent in Dutch and English language
  • A resourceful team player yet able to work independently
  • Visit customers from times to times to maintain customer loyalty and forge stronger relationship
