Introducing Sven Zaadnoordijk, Regional Director Asia ‘One central service desk in Asia improves our responsiveness to customers considerably’

We would like to introduce you to Sven Zaadnoordijk, who has been appointed as our Regional Director Asia since March 1st, 2019. Sven (37) was already in our Asia region since 2015, in the role of Finance Director Asia, stationed in Hong Kong.

Sven has a Master of Science degree in Management and has a broad experience in Finance and Management. Amongst others, Sven worked for companies like Van Berge Henegouwen (sister company of Radio Holland), Shell, Robeco and PricewaterhouseCoopers. He is managing the Asia region from the office in Singapore, whereby he travels frequently to our offices in China, Hong Kong and Malaysia.

In order to improve the customer responsiveness, Sven and the Asian Radio Holland team have created one central Service Desk Asia, including the implementation of a ticketing system, as per January 1st. The desk consists of a team of service coordinators headed by the Regional Customer Service Manager, Charlene Koh. With the new set-up, the team is now capable of handling all service requests from both in- and outside the region 24/7.

Sven highlights, “The responsiveness to customers has improved significantly. Aside from setting-up the Service Desk Asia and the implementation of the ticketing system, we have also implemented the Regional Service Rate Card. This offers customers a fixed price for a variety of well-defined service jobs. The Regional Service Rate card enables us to quote service enquiries swiftly at a predictable rate. We are proud to have achieved this as a team and we are looking forward to take the next steps to further enhance our customer service level!”
